This March, we are excited to present a mini exhibition featuring the captivating works of Takeshi Imaizumi, a ceramic artist who has dedicated his career to exploring the beauty of Tenmoku and Celadon ceramics. He has been greatly influenced by the masterpieces from the Song Dynasty in China and has spent years conducting research experiments to develop his own unique expression. Through testing new glaze formulations and firing techniques, he brings his vision to life.
In this exhibition, we will showcase a range of Imaizumi’s works, including sake ware, tea bowls, teacups, and flower vases. His pieces fascinate us with their delicate glaze tones and sophisticated appearances, with Tenmoku works evoking the night sky and Celadon pieces radiating infinite depth. We invite you to experience the tranquility of the blue and black works of art formed by the intimate chemistry between clay, glaze and firing.
