Yuki Nishiyama’s Spring/Summer Collection 2023 at Duxton Hill

The long-awaited collection has finally arrived. Glass artist Yuki Nishiyama created these enchanting works specially for HULS once again, in the theme of “Seasons”. Being born and raised in the countryside, Nishiyama finds connections with the surrounding nature and appreciates the subtle nuances that she encounters in the landscape of Hokkaido.

From free-blowing to cutting and painting, Nishiyama handles the entire production process and translates her profound emotions towards nature into these magical masterpieces. One noteworthy feature of this collection is the Blue Moment series in which she depicted the scene where she stumbled across a kingfisher at the lake in Hokkaido last summer.

The exhibition will be held from the 8th to 14th April. During this period, those who are interested to purchase any one of Yuki Nishiyama’s works will be required to submit a ballot. The result of the ballot will then be announced on the 18th April, and all works will be available for purchase from this time onwards.
