Mr. Ryosuke Ando was born in 1980 in Aichi Prefecture. After graduating from the Aichi University of the Arts, Faculty of Art, Design and Craft, he went on to complete an advanced course and graduated from Aichi Prefectural Seto Pottery Senior High School. Since 2014, his works have been selected for international exhibitions and received various awards. Mr. Ando infuses traditional Seto Yaki and Ginsai craftwork with a modern twist. His works have gained multiple awards and recognition nationally. His specialty lies in creating crafts from molds as it gives him the ability to create complex shapes inspired from nature.
