One of our most recent additions. Tea Farm Inokura is located at Tsukigase, Nara Prefecture, and has continued for eleven generations. Tea making dates back more than 1,200 years in Nara and it is still thriving as one of the main tea production areas in Japan today.
Mitsuhiro Inokura, the successor to the farm focuses on soil cultivation and makes use of organic fertilizers. He also utilizes spring water that is sourced from the surrounding hills to steam the tea leaves in order to produce tea with a clear liquor color and rounded flavor. With his dedication to producing the finest tea, they won the first prize in the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the National Tea Fair in 2010.
Ever since his childhood, Mr. Inokura has believed in the power of tea to bring people together, and it is this happiness that forms the fundamental for his way of life. From Nara to Singapore, we invite you to taste these refreshing teas that are favored by people from all over the world.
