This December, HULS Gallery will be holding an exhibition showcasing Eiko Tanaka’s works. On designated dates during the exhibition, Eiko Tanaka will be at our gallery in-person. You’ll be able to speak to her directly to find out more about her works, the inspiration behind her craft, etc. We hope you’ll take this rare opportunity to gain more insights on Eiko Tanaka’s work and Japanese crafts in general.
Eiko Tanaka is a lacquer artist and woodturner based in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. She studied under Torao Nakashima and handles all aspects of the work by herself, from wood turning to lacquer painting.
