Mr. Kenta Nakazato was born in 1993 in Karatsu. After completing his studies at Bunka Fashion College in 2015, he apprenticed under his father, Mr. Taki Nakazato. After his three-year apprenticeship, he began producing his own works. He also spent 2 months at Minnesota, USA making pottery. While building on the traditions of Karatsu ware which he has inherited, Mr. Nakazato applies the same free spirit to creating ceramics as he does in enjoying everyday life. He often pictures how food can be presented through his works, as well as the pleasant emotions of people dining together.
