Established in 1953 in Yoshida, Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, Soekyu Seitosho is among the original fourteen Hizen-Yoshida potteries, specializing in daily use tableware. Led by Mr. Hisahiro Soejima, the third generation, the company continues traditional techniques like “sumihajiki” and “dami,” with a focus on innovation, exemplified by their “Soekyu GOSU” series featuring unique blue pigments. Despite market changes, Soekyu Seitosho remains dynamic, collaborating with designers and local communities while maintaining a commitment to customer satisfaction.
