Founded in 1941, Takano Chikko creates bamboo products at their workshop in Nagaokakyo city, Kyoto Prefecture, which is renowned for the growth of quality bamboo. Their artisans would visit the bamboo forest to source the right bamboo, and process them. The cleaned bamboo will be dried for years before delivering to the workshop as working material.
