Born in 1985, Osaka, Yuki Sekino graduated from Visual Design Department in Osaka. She went on to study at Osaka University of Arts and specialised in Glass Crafts. She worked for 2 years as an assistant to Tsuyoshi Tsujino’s glass blowing workshop, after which, she participiated in numerous workshops held by international glass artists. Since 2012, she has co-founded a glass blowing studio “SORTE GLASS” with her husband and launched her line of Sorte Glass Jewelry. Sorte means fate or future in Italian. Yuko’s products are crafted with the aim of capturing the unique charm that only glass can convey.
